In the midst of Erica's modeling and acting career she suffered multiple cardiac events.  In 2015, things truly took a difficult turn.  Erica was awakened in the middle of the night by God who told her to brace herself for what was coming. Erica was suffering a TIA, transient ischemic attack.  In that moment Erica really understood that no matter how good she felt she was still afflicted with heart disease.  Erica needed to fully embrace her diagnosis and create a lifestyle plan in hopes of saving her life daily.

Her daily struggle has inspired her to speak out passionately to help heal herself while educating, inspiring and empowering others through prevention and awareness.  Erica is fighting this disease with a comprehensive mixture of Fun, Fashion, Faith, Fitness, Family & Friends.
